CHECKLIST

Please review the following information before booking your tattoo appointment. These guidelines are intended to help determine whether tattooing is currently appropriate for you.

If you are unsure about a medical condition, medication, treatment, allergy or anything else that may affect your tattoo or healing process, please consult your doctor and inform me before booking.

PREGNANCY & BREASTFEEDING

I do not tattoo during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Please book your appointment once this period has ended.

AGE REQUIREMENT — 18+

You must be 18 or older on the day of your appointment. A valid ID may be requested.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS

If you have diabetes, a condition affecting your immune system or healing, are undergoing chemotherapy, or have another medical condition that may affect tattooing or wound healing, please consult your doctor and inform me before booking.

Having a medical condition does not necessarily mean that you cannot get tattooed, but additional precautions or medical clearance may be required.

MEDICATION

Some medications may affect bleeding, healing or your skin’s response to tattooing.

If you are taking anticoagulants, antibiotics or other medication that may affect the tattooing or healing process, please consult your doctor and inform me before your appointment.

Do not stop or change any prescribed medication without medical advice.

ISOTRETINOIN / ACCUTANE

If you currently use or have recently used isotretinoin (Accutane), please inform me before booking.

For safety, I do not tattoo clients until at least 12 months after completing isotretinoin treatment.

If you have any concerns regarding your skin after treatment, please consult your doctor before booking.

KELOID SCARRING

If you have a history of developing keloid scars, please contact me before booking.

Tattooing creates controlled trauma to the skin and may trigger additional scar formation in individuals who are prone to keloids. Depending on your history, I may recommend consulting your doctor before proceeding.

RETIN-A, RETINOIDS & AHAs

Products containing retinoids, Retin-A or alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) can increase skin sensitivity.

If you use these products on or near the area to be tattooed, please inform me before your appointment. The skin should be healthy and free from irritation at the time of tattooing.

BOTOX & DERMAL FILLERS

If you have recently had Botox, dermal fillers or another injectable treatment in or near the area to be tattooed, please contact me before your appointment.

I generally recommend allowing at least four weeks between the injectable treatment and tattooing in the same or nearby area.

ALLERGIES & SKIN SENSITIVITIES

Please inform me before your appointment about any known allergies or skin sensitivities, particularly reactions to tattoo ink, adhesives, latex, metals, fragrances or skincare products.

If you have a history of severe allergic reactions or are unsure how your skin may respond to tattoo products, please consult your doctor before booking.

SKIN CONDITION

The area to be tattooed must be healthy on the day of your appointment.

I cannot tattoo over active irritation, infection, open wounds, significant sunburn or other conditions that may interfere with the tattooing or healing process.

If you are unsure about the condition of your skin, please contact me before your appointment.

ALCOHOL — 24 HOURS

Do not consume alcohol during the 24 hours before your appointment.

Please arrive well hydrated, rested and after having eaten a proper meal. This helps your body manage the tattooing process and supports a smoother session.

ON THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT

Before the tattoo procedure begins, you will be asked to complete the studio’s consent and health form.

This form is completed in person at the studio on the day of your appointment. No health or medical information is collected through this website.

Please answer all questions accurately and inform me of any relevant medical condition, medication, allergy, treatment or recent change in your health.

Providing this information helps determine whether the tattoo can safely proceed on the day.

NOT SURE?

If any of the above applies to you, or if you are unsure whether you can be tattooed, please contact me before booking or before your appointment.

For questions concerning a medical condition, medication or treatment, please consult your doctor.

Your safety and the proper healing of your tattoo always come first.
